January 12th – Sick AGAIN

I can’t believe how many times I’ve been sick this year.  Well… technically this is the first time this year but you know what I mean.  I am starting to think something’s really wrong here.  It seems like every time I start to make a little progress, I get sick and have to start over.  It’s really frustrating.

I also noticed that I don’t blog when I’m not running and that’s not really fair so my new plan is to try harder to blog every day.  I figure that making myself a little more accountable will help keep things on track.

I am a little overdue on my goals for this year.   It’s been a long time since I’ve set goals so I have come up with a big list.  Now, it’s just a matter of deciding which goals I want to accomplish this year.  I have set some of the easier, physical, goals like “drink 8 glasses of water a day” and “run at least 4 days a week” but I am having trouble deciding which life goals to set this year.  Since I am sick and can’t run, I am going to spend some time working on goals this evening.  At least I will be working on something.  I hate being sick!

December 3rd – Can A Person Get The Plague These Days?

I am not sure if the plague is still going around but I’m pretty sure I have it.  I woke up this morning feeling awful so I skipped work again.  I slept in a few hours but there is only so much a person can sleep before it’s time to get up.  It’s funny because a friend and I were talking about sleep a couple of days ago and I remarked that I wanted that kind of sleep where you wake up sore.  Let me tell you…  be careful what you wish for.

I do, however, feel better today than yesterday so I am confident I am past the hump on this thing.  I should be back to 100%, and back in the gym, on Monday. I can’t wait.
